Asbestos moulds are often used in transit ducts. When removing this mould a containment needs to be placed on both sides of the wall or deck. This usually takes up a lot of space.
For this reason transit ducts are usually removed during renovation moments or maintenance stops. That is no longer necessary. With a MiniContainment this procedure is easy. In the following video, we used the smallest version of our MiniContainment. Generally, in this case we would use a broader top deck MiniContainment, but we wanted to show that we can remove very small applications using a MiniContainment.
This project was carried out in a home that was being renovated, but it is also possible to perform this in an occupied house without much inconvenience to the residents. Therefore we believe that the current way of thinking to postpone asbestos removal until a renovation moment comes up, should be changed, which will be beneficial to the entire chain.
